HOW IT WORKS

The customer selects the garment, construction level and extras. Da Estol's server checks those selections against the published price structure, generates a unique quote reference and calculates the correct deposit. The customer can then pay securely through Stripe.

These are sewing/service from-prices used by the automated quote system. Main fabric is supplied by the customer unless Da Estol sourcing support is selected. Children’s prices apply to under-13s; older children/teens can be quoted from the adult range where appropriate. Specialist materials and unusually complex work can be charged separately only where agreed before cutting.

Automated quote scope: the quote is binding for the options the customer selects. If the customer later requests extra work, changes the design, supplies inaccurate measurements or the supplied fabric requires previously undisclosed specialist work, Da Estol will agree any variation before carrying out that extra work.
PAYMENT PROTECTION

Automatic deposit policy

The website calculates the commencement deposit from the automated written quote.

Quote below £500

50% commencement deposit
The balance is due according to the agreed payment schedule and before final release.

Quote £500 or more

40% commencement deposit
30% at the agreed construction/fitting milestone and 30% before collection or delivery.

Customer cannot choose a lower deposit.

The amount is calculated on Da Estol's server from the selected service and signed into the secure payment link. The Stripe checkout therefore receives the approved deposit rather than an amount typed by the customer.

KEY TERMS

Fair terms for both client and designer

  1. Agreed scope: the automated quote is based on the exact garment and options selected by the customer.
  2. Agreed price: after the quote is accepted and deposit paid, neither side can simply rewrite that agreed price. Customer-requested extra work is agreed separately before it is carried out.
  3. Customer fabric: the customer must supply sufficient suitable fabric unless sourcing is selected. Hidden defects, shortage, shrinkage or colour bleeding outside Da Estol's reasonable control are excluded.
  4. Measurements: customers are encouraged to be measured by Da Estol. Where customers provide their own measurements, fitting problems caused by inaccurate measurements are not included in the quoted correction allowance.
  5. Final balance: the remaining agreed balance must be settled before the finished garment is collected, delivered or dispatched.
